[Interview: Admiral Robert Willard, Commander
US Pacific Command] "Our department of defense has been in dialogue regarding the capabilities that the Republic of Korea Armed Forces intend to bring, to bear, to ensure of the security of the G20. We intend to cooperate such as information sharing and surveillance needs, Pacific Command has committed to provide whatever capability General Han requires."
The five-day meeting that started Monday was hosted by South Korea for the first time.
The conference brings together Asia-Pacific nations to discuss a range of issues including military cooperation for international peace, the military's role in green growth, the multinational planning augmentation team and international cooperation in maritime security.
