'Members of civic organizations hold a nighttime demonstration to protest the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project at Cheonggye Square in Seoul, July 1.

Just after the lifting of the ban on nighttime outdoor assemblies through a ruling by the Constitutional Court went into effect on July 1, police stations nationwide were flooded with applications for outdoor assemblies after sunset, officials said.'
