This week saw the 6th successful test of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system off the coast of Kauai. This successful intercept marks the 35th successful missile defense intercept since the decision to deploy missile defenses in 2002. The technical accomplishment further validates and demonstrates that the system works and creates continual momentum to develop and deploy missile defenses.
