400 peace activists detained in protest at NATO

Police have detained about 400 out of 500 peace activists who tried to get into NATO headquarters to protest the alliance's 60th anniversary.
Protest spokesman Roel Stynen says NATO is "causing more problems than it solves."
The activists say the 26-nation alliance is not helping to bring peace around the world because some of its members still keep stockpiles of nuclear missiles and they are fighting a loosing war in Afghanistan.
The demonstrators say they hope Saturday's protest will raise awareness of their campaign. They vow to hold more protests during NATO's anniversary summit next month in France and Germany.
