' Peace performance by the travelers against the naval base, in front of the congress'
Despite the protest of the Gagngjeong village people and activists who had the press interview against the pressure outside, the congress dominated by the right wings decided to review the audit- The review for ‘audit on the opinion of the reclamation of the public sea surface’ related to the agendas of the Jeju naval base.’ The congress itself who would have the monthly meeting for the monitoring of administartion and budget, by December 15, had a suffering of limping on its first day (Nov. 16) for the first time in its history. The agenda was submitted to the congress right before the meeting, violating the rule of at least 24 years before and unanimously voted for in favor by the 27 majority party members (right wings) while the 15 minority party congress members boycotted the congress. The vote even violated the electronic and naming process.
The Gagngjeong village people and activists denounced the congress for it subjugation by the pressure of the Defense Department and the Island government.
Is all related to Obama’s visit to the South Korea? Beside the pressure of the re-dispatch to Afghanistan and denuclearization of the North Korea? Perhaps.
