U.N. Command team visited S. Korean navy over skirmish with North: officials
SEOUL, Nov. 16 (Yonhap) -- Several members of the United Nations Command made a fact-finding trip to a South Korean naval command regarding a recent naval skirmish with North Korea on the Yellow Sea border, military officials said Sunday.
The team from the U.N. Command's Military Armistice Commission, which supervises the implementation of the Korean War armistice, made the visit on Thursday, two days after the navies of the Koreas exchanged gunfire, they said, requesting anonymity.

N. Korea briefly activated fire-control radar near Yellow Sea border: sources
SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Yonhap) -- North Korea briefly activated its fire-control radar system covering the disputed western sea border Sunday, forcing South Korea to scramble to move its patrol boats away from the North's shore-based missiles and artilleries, military sources said.
The situation returned to normal in an hour, but South Korean military remained on heightened alert, said two military sources contacted by Yonhap News Agency.
