[Jeju Update] Prayer for Japan from the Jeju Island
While Kang Dong-Kyun, the Gangjeong village mayor expressed his sincerest condolence to the citizens and residents in Japan and reminded the navy how the human beings’ reckless activities could bring terrible disasters in his opening remarks in the Gangjeong villagers’ press interview in the Island people’s room, Island council building on March 17, the members of the Life and Peace Fellowship and Frontiers, who are currently residing in the Gangjeong village, Jeju Island, paid deep consolation and condolence to Japan in silence and words in the night of March 17, upon the very distressing news on the radiation fear spreading in Japan, caused from the explosion of the Fukushima nuclear plants. The details and translations come later. But here are some portions of those. The people from the Jeju Island send heartfelt consolation, condolence and solidarity to all the suffering friends and people in Japan.
