Text Fwd: Solidarity E-mail from Japan

* On April 3, Makiko Sato sent. Thanks, Makiko.*

"..[E]verybody engaged in a peace-movement seems so busy now.

I sent, several hours ago, in a fax to every one of the seven
political parties in Japan, the opinions of ordinary citizens
regarding what they think of the present MD system initiation
against the probable launch of a rocket by the North Korea.
...
I feel some adverse winds to the anti-MD activities here.

The official website of No! to nukes and missile campaign
had the access of 6000 in one day, and my website
also gathered the access of more than a
few hundereds. (Mine is very sober, but it seems that
they have read most pages.)

But those who made such access must have been some young
poor people without any stable jobs, who have been totally
influenced by the right-wing propaganda of nationalism.
I feel anxious about such young people.

Tommorow, the rocket will be launched. What will happen?
I hope the rocket will go up straight.

With hope,
Makiko
