The family members of the five Yongsan tragedy victims hold a press conference to urge the government to engage in dialogue with them at Suncheonhyang Hospital located in Seoul’s Yongsan district, July 12. As a result of the government’s inaction in resolving the matter, the hospital continues to hold the remains of five of the victims.

During their press conference, they said they will march in the streets of Seoul with the bodies of the dead victims if the government does not accept their request for an independent investigation into the Youngsan tragedy, and an apology from President Lee Myung-bak.
