And in the sea on April 1, 2011

The navy has not allowed any fishing ships or sea-diving women within the construction area. But it is told that the sea-diving women most of who have been in favor of naval base protested to the navy on it and were allowed to work within the area. Do the women recognize that the constructed naval base would prevent their works forever? We hope the cajoled women in the beginning when the naval base issue first came to the village realize that and join the struggle.

On the sunny day of April 1 when there were lots of sea-diving women in the Gangjeong Sea, dolphins appeared as well. The dolphins were told to appear this March as well. They are known to usually appear from June to November, coming from Alaska. The forceful construction of naval base would destroy all such ecology system here and that is one of the reasons of why people oppose the naval base.
