Yang demands the stop of naval base construction and punishment of all the policemen who joined the violent and brutal arrest of him. A villager is strengthening the fence to prevent the navy and companies from the illegal and violent naval base construction(April 16, 2011)

Kim Yeo-Jin, a famous actress for her vital activism visited the village. The movie society is becoming hot on the struggle against the Jeju naval base construction upon the moment of arrest of movie critic, Yang Yoon-Mo, who is doing 12th day hunger strike as of April 17.

Save the creatures who cannot speak their pain

While construction became loose on Saturday, April 16, people paid attention to the endangered species in the coast and sea in the plammed naval base area.

A leader of the group called Life and Peace Fellowship tried to save sweet fish in the Gangjeong stream all day by making their way from the sea to the stream.
