Kim Sang-geun, the chairperson of the South Korean branch of the Committee for Implementation of the June 15 Joint Declaration, is delivering a speech at a press conference held in the Franciscan Education Center in Seoul’s Jeong neighborhood to urge the government to send rice to North Korea, Nov. 11.

The committee is arguing that sending rice to North Korea as humanitarian aid will help prop up declining South Korean rice prices and improve inter-Korean relations.
